These two questions are keys to help an individual identify the motivation behind his/her goals or lack of goals, inspirations, behaviors, character, and ultimately his/her current life direction and future positioning towards one's uniquely defined success goal.

Joe Kenley (Coach Joe) is an author, workshop speaker, and a college and career coach with a passion to encourage and motivate those
who want to succeed in their relationships, career, and achieving goals.
Joe earned his Bachelor
of Science Degree in Psychology from Virginia State University and then went on to earn his Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Joe's passion to encourage and motivate was influenced early in his career when he was laid off from his job as a mental health counselor, the job he accepted fresh out of graduate school, where became complacent and not fully satisfied, just went through the motions of committing to a job. The complacency to remain there was disabling and began to affect the relationship he had with his family and the outlook he had for his life because he was visionless, and as a result, did not see anything better for himself and his family. That layoff became a blessing in disguise. It stretched him to seek better opportunities. He thought about the influences on his life that brought him joy with the potential to grow and leave an impact which positioned him back to college but as an employee rather than a student.
His plan was to impact the lives of the students he served through advising and teaching with positive and realistic communication. His intention was to help students identify the greatness is already within them and to use their gifts to make a positive impact in their chosen fields and relationships. By helping his students navigate through their degree programs towards their career aspirations with encouragement, his purpose was and remains to not allow life's setbacks to keep you down, but to activate the greatness that is within oneself, to navigate you through obstacles into success.
